This is a recipe in which I always fall back on.
It is lovely for incorporating in fresh ingredients and nutrients you’ve been lacking in your daily intake.
& the carbs, though processed, ensure you stay fuller longer…
Along with love and happiness, the ingredients include:
- green onions
- toasted, chopped almonds
- an egg
- sesame oil
- katsu sauce
- minced garlic
- chicken broth
What I do is cook the egg first. Then I set the egg aside and cook the fresh veggies in a sauce of katsu, garlic, siracha, and this time I also added a touch of sesame oil. I then cook the noodles in broth and add them to the pan, as well as, the egg. It is simple and flexible and I always make it when I’m lazy, hungry, and in need of nutrition. I eat this variably and frequently, and I’m fit as a fiddle.
Experiment! Food is fun and so is making it… but eating it wins over all.
